Short Take: Excite, Reel.com strike a deal

Portal Excite and online movie store Reel.com closed a deal in which the movie store's reviews and video and DVD sales will be featured on the Excite and Webcrawler entertainment and shopping channels. Reel.com carries more than 85,000 VHS and 1,200 DVD titles for sale and 35,000 titles for rent. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
