Short Take: Excite, Foot Locker pair for sales and branding

Portal site Excite has signed up athletic shoe store Foot Locker's online sales service as an anchor tenant on its shopping, sports, and lifestyle channels. As part of the agreement, Excite will get offline advertising of its brand in Foot Locker catalogues and stores. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
