E*Trade has been added to the Standard and Poor MidCap 400 Index, the first online broker to be added to the index, according to E*Trade. E*Trade joins a group of 400 domestic investment banking and brokerage industry stocks. The broker previously was listed in the S&P SmallCap 600 Index.
