Short Take: EDS names new E.solutions unit president

EDS has appointed John McCain as president of its E.solutions unit, a $2 billion, 20,000-employee business team. Beginning August 1, McCain, currently the head of the unit's consulting practice, will succeed Gary Moore. Moore, who was named president of the unit just two months ago, said he is leaving the Plano, Texas-based company to become chief executive of Enterprise Networking Systems in Redwood City, California. McCain has been with EDS for 26 years.
