Short Take: EDS appoints new board member
Computer services giant EDS has appointed PepsiCo CEO Roger Enrico as a board member. Enrico replaces Enrique Sosa, who retired from the EDS board to pursue professional and personal obligations, the Plano, Texas-based company said. Sosa retired last year from BP Amoco prior to joining the EDS board. Enrico, 55, was named CEO of PepsiCo in April 1996 and chairman of the PepsiCo board in November of the same year.
