Short Take: DigitalThink, Red Hat team to certify Linux workers online

Online education provider DigitalThink and Linux software maker Red Hat have teamed to implement Red Hat's Web-based training program. The Red Hat E-Learning Curriculum prepares people to take the Red Hat Certified Engineer exam, which tests competency in managing Linux servers, the companies said. The curriculum will cover the same skills and objectives as the instructor-led classroom track and will test performance of essential network and troubleshooting tasks.
