Diamond Multimedia Systems shipped its SupraExpress 336e Sp, a speakerphone modem for the Macintosh. The 33.6-kbps modem, which enables users to talk and share data simultaneously over a single phone line, incorporates ASVD (analog simultaneous voice and data) technology and features V.80 capability for videophone-ready V.34 modems. It will sell for $149 and is expected to be available in February.
