European telecommunications firm Deutsche Telekom has chosen to use Tivoli Systems' system management software for its network. Tivoli said it will install its software to manage its PCs, application servers, and mainframes that support 45.8 million telephone lines. As part of the agreement, Tivoli will train 120 Deutsche Telekom employees to become certified Tivoli consultants.
