Dell announced that its cluster of Dell PowerEdge servers at Cornell University has been named to the "Top 500 Supercomputing Sites." The list, compiled twice a year by experts from the University of Tennessee and the University of Mannheim, Germany, lists the 500 most powerful supercomputers in the world. This is the first time a Dell system has been included.
