Short Take: Copper Mountain in new partnerships

Digital subscriber line equipment startup Copper Mountain Networks got a boost via two new partnerships with networking giants Lucent Technologies and 3Com. Lucent plans to license Copper Mountain's DSL-based equipment and integrate with its own set of data networking equipment, network management software and professional services offerings. 3Com will develop and market back-end DSL-based equipment with Copper Mountain, under the terms of their pact.
