Short take: Connect warns of lower revenues

Connect, a software developer for e-commerce, said it would post revenues this quarter in the $1.5 million to $1.7 million range, compared with revenues of $2.25 million reported for the previous quarter. The Mountain View, California-based company also said it has hired investment banking firm Alliant Partners to assist "in evaluating opportunities to enhance stockholder value through strategic relationships, including those that could lead to the sale of the company."
