Short Take: Computer Associates expands business in India

Computer Associates International announced that it is forming a subsidiary in India. CA, a maker of mission-critical business software that already has a liaison office in Bombay, anticipates having wholly-owned subsidiary status by the end of the year, once government approvals are completed. Among the CA products to be marketed and supported in India are its end-to-end enterprise management solution, Unicenter TNG, and its object-oriented, multimedia database software, Jasmine.
