Compaq (CPQ) announced it has extended its leading market-share position in the shipment of branded monitors for the third consecutive year. The company singled out its 17-inch P70 and V70 models and 15-inch P50 and V50 models as having done particularly well. The Compaq TFT500 flat-panel monitor, which was introduced earlier this year, has also been successful.
