Compaq today unveiled a new portable MP100 projector, essentially creating the new "microportable" market category in the projector market. The MP1600 is 175 cubic inches and 4.2 pounds, three pounds lighter than most competing projectors. Its is eight inches tall, nine inches long and three inches wide and composed of a magnesium alloy. The projector is designed for mobile professionals who must conduct meetings and presentations on the road.
