Short Take: Chinese home PC ownership growing

As a result of a 40 percent boom in the PC market for the past two years, 5 out of 100 urban families in China now own PCs, the Xinhua News Agency said. Families in Shanghai and Beijing show the greatest percentage of ownership, while in other cities the rate decreases to 3 out of 100, according to figures from the Ministry of Electronics Industry.
