Short Take: Catalog City to sell from site
Catalog City, which currently publishes 2,000-plus catalogs on its Web sites, now lets catalogers sell directly from the site, instead of directing visitors to 800 numbers. OrderTrust, formerly called LitleNet, is handling back-end transactions and fulfillment. By midsummer, catalogers will be set up to sell from the site, with a major consumer-oriented launch in September, when the company hopes to have more than 400 catalogers selling from the site.
