Short Take: Castle Networks to show test sites

Castle Networks announced test sites for its high-end switch device for voice and data networking traffic. The equipment is targeted at the central office site of a local provider, a niche intended to facilitate a migration away from older switching technology, sometimes known as Class 5 switches. The C2100 will be shown for the first time later this month at an industry trade show, with shipments scheduled for July of this year. Castle originally announced its technology last November.
