Short Take: Canon offers seven-color printer

Canon's new BJC-7000 ink jet printer is the industry's first seven-color system that delivers photo-realistic printing. The copier uses special printing to ensure water-resistance on plain paper in both color and black, and offers photo ink printing on plain paper. At an estimated street price of $449, the new printer will ship in October.
