Short Take: Cabletron adds e-commerce to Web site

Cabletron Systems, hoping to duplicate the success of rivals, unveiled plans to add electronic commerce capabilities to its Web site so that customers can price, configure, and order networking equipment. The new site, called CabletronCommerce, takes advantage of the Web hosting capabilities of GTE Internetworking and configuration software from Calico Technology.
