Short Take: CA consolidates units
Computer Associates today announced it is combining its five separate business units under one division. The new division called InterBiz encompasses Acacia Technologies, ACCPAC International, MK Group, Portico, and Prestige Software International, which make software for manufacturing, e-commerce, and financial and human resource management. Reuven Battat, previously CA's executive vice president and general manager of worldwide marketing, has been appointed president of the new division.
