Short Take: Browsers hit hotel TVs

Hotel patrons will be able to channel surf and Web surf on television with a product being tested by LodgeNet. Based on the company's b-LAN (broadband local area network) system, the product does not require special wiring or hardware beyond the LodgeNet remote control device. The system, developed in conjunction with Diba, has been in trial operation since early February.
