BroadJump, a broadband self-installation software maker, has added new features to its software package, enabling high-speed Internet providers to more easily implement multiple ISPs. Many digital subscriber line (DSL) companies already offer consumers a choice of ISP, and the cable industry will soon as well. Previous versions of BroadJump's software were aimed only at single ISP broadband connections. In addition, BroadJump's self-installation software now supports additional services beyond Net access, such as voice-over-broadband and virtual private networks (VPNs), allowing carriers to easily activate newer highly profitable services.
