Short Take: Borland to sell cell phone software tools

Software maker Borland will sell programming tools that will allow software writers to more easily create Java programs that run on Motorola gadgets, the companies said Tuesday. The JBuilder programming software is intended to make it easier to write software for Java-enabled Motorola cell phones, due in the second half of this year, the companies said. The programming software runs on Linux, Windows and Solaris computers.
