Short Take: Beta 2 for Outlook 98
Microsoft today posted a second beta version of its Outlook 98 messaging software. The software features new fax capabilities for email users, further support for Internet Explorer 4.01, including the NetMeeting conferencing software, and design improvements to the Find and Organize tools, and the Outlook user interface. The initial beta version shipped in November. An Outlook administration kit was released for beta testing today as well. The final version of the software is expected to ship in the first half of 1998, according to the company.
