Bay Networks has quickly moved to incorporate technology it gained in the New Oak Communications acquisition. The company announced that a new switch, called the NOC 2000, is ready for trial shipment this week. The networking device allows up to 200 users to connect with others securely from a remote location across the Net using encryption, tunneling, and directory-based software technology.
