Short Take: Bay cofounder takes helm at NetCentric

Former Bay Networks cofounder Paul Severino will take the reins at NetCentric, a Net-based faxing company for enterprise networks. Severino will serve as the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based firm's chief executive. He has been chairman of the board and acting CEO since last September.
