Baan has appointed Katrina Roche to senior vice president and chief marketing officer. In the newly created position, Roche is responsible for the global management of the company's corporate marketing, product marketing, technology alliances, and brand management, the Dutch business software firm said. For the past year, Roche served as the general manager of Baan's supply chain software unit. Prior to joining Baan, Roche served as the CEO of consulting firm Cygnus Technology.
