Short Take: Axent buys SNCi, broadens consulting

Data security firm Axent Technologies has expanded its services offering with its Lifecycle Security Services program. The enhanced offering helps organizations assess, design, deploy, integrate, and support enterprise security solutions. In addition, Axent has acquired Secure Network Consulting, a security consulting firm based in San Antonio. SNCi's staff will drive Axent's security consulting practice. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
