Short Take: Aventail posts Policy Manager beta

has posted a free beta of its Internet Policy Manager for Windows NT to its Web site. The product, formerly called Aventail Security Manager, works with an existing router or firewall to let companies authenticate and manage employees' access to the Internet. It also helps companies to create and implement corporate security policies. The final version will ship on February 28 and will be priced at $1,995.
