Short Take: AT&T charges Microsoft with breach of contract

AT&T alleges Microsoft is breaching terms of a contract over source code to Windows NT, representatives from both companies said. The suit, filed last October, alleges that Microsoft has not delivered source code for the latest version of the corporate server operating system, as was promised in a 1994 contract. Microsoft said the contract does not apply to the upcoming Windows NT version 5.0, a contention AT&T disputes.
