Short Take: Ashton resigns from Novell's board

Novell announced the resignation of Alan C. Ashton from the company's board of directors. Ashton joined the board following Novell's 1994 acquisition of WordPerfect. Ashton was a founder of WordPerfect. He is leaving to pursue other interests.
