Short Take: Asante names Wong to CEO post

Asante Technologies appointed Wilson Wong to its chairman and chief executive posts, effective January 1. Jeff Lin, Asante's previous chairman, will continue to serve on the company's board of directors. Wong, a founder of Asante, has served as director since its inception and held its CEO post until 1993. In 1998, Wong rejoined the management team to take charge of all research & development and engineering of the company's next generation products, designed to target the education and pre-press markets.
