Short Take: Apple signs Manovich to head sales

Apple Computer announced David Manovich will assume the role of executive vice president of Worldwide Sales and Service vacated by Marco Landi. Manovich, most recently vice president of sales at Fujitsu, was formerly vice president of Apple's U.S. Consumer-Retail Sales division; he will report directly to chairman and CEO Gilbert Amelio.
