Short Take: AOL, VH1 expand cross-promotion

America Online and Viacom have extended an existing agreement to cross-promote the VH1 cable music channel and the online service. VH1 will create new Net content available exclusively to AOL members, such as live chat events with recording artists. AOL also will be mentioned frequently on the air.
