Short Take: AOL requires ratings for games

America Online today said that it will require all games played on its service to be rated by Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). In addition, all of AOL's commerce partners with games in their inventory rated by the ESRB will display the ESRB rating prominently wherever the games are sold. The ESRB's ratings range from "Early Childhood" to "Everyone," "Teen," "Mature" and "Adults Only."
