Short Take: AOL launches SonicNet services

America Online has struck a deal with SonicNet, a unit of TCI, for the music site to become an anchor tenant on the online giant's proprietary service. SonicNet will be featured on AOL's music channel, where users can access the company's music news, album reviews, artist chats, and live concert Webcasts, as well as music video and audio clips. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
