Short Take: Andreessen joins CacheFlow board
Marc Andreessen, cofounder of Netscape Communications and cocreator of the first Web browser, invested an undisclosed sum in CacheFlow, which makes appliances for Internet caching. Caching technology keeps copies of frequently accessed Internet content on distributed servers physically closer to end users to minimize traffic on the broader Internet. Andreessen also will sit on CacheFlow's board of directors.
