Networking start-up Altiga Networks has released two new networking devices for telecommunications carriers and Internet service providers to provide Virtual Private Network (VPN) services to small and mid-sized businesses. A VPN is a secure technology that allows mobile employees to connect to corporate networks over the Internet. The S100 device supports up to 30 customers and 1,500 simultaneous users. The S200 device supports 100 customers and 5,000 simultaneous users. Prices range between $45,000 to $90,000.
