Short Take: AltaVista to debut white and yellow pages directory

Digital Equipment announced a white and yellow pages directory service that will allow users of its AltaVista search service to easily find domestic businesses and people on the Internet. The new capability is made possible through a partnership deal between Digital and Switchboard, an Internet directory service. The move represents AltaVista's first foray into expanding content.
