Short Take: Al Gore visits Silicon Valley

Vice President Al Gore is rubbing elbows with Silicon Valley executives. In conjunction with his semiannual meeting with Russian Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin, Gore will hook up for a roundtable with the Technology Network at Cisco Systems in San Jose, California, to discuss how the industry can play into the former Soviet Union's "New Economy."
