Short Take: Agilent releases new server management tools

Hewlett-Packard spinoff Agilent Technologies, a test and measurement company, has announced new Web-based server management hardware. The Agilent PCI Mezzanine Remote Management Card or the embedded Remote Management Chip can be used by system administrators on CompactPCI servers, used for high-end industrial and communications applications, for remote administration. The products can also detect problems and send pager or email notification.
