Short Take: Add-on cards turn PCs into TVs

AITech International and WavePhore have teamed up on a TV card bundle that will allow users to watch TV on their PCs as well as receive Internet content via the airwaves. Under the deal, AI will bundle its WaveWatcher TV tuner card, which converts TV signals to a digital format, with WavePhore's WaveTop software, which enables Internet publishers to send Web data via cable or broadcast signals. The bundle retails for $169.
