A group of Web advertising and interactive industry veterans have launched Adauction.com, an online ad auction channel that allows media buyers to purchase discounted ad inventory and reach targeted audiences on branded Web sites. To date, Adauction.com has partnered with more than 30 Web publishers and 25 media buyers, and plans to offer over 30 million ad impressions for its auction debut, scheduled to take place February 19.
