Short Take: Acer to make Mac components

The Acer Group announced it will be acting as a major source of components for Mac OS-compatible computer system makers, supplying motherboards and other major components on a worldwide basis. The deal will have Acer acting as both OEM supplier for Apple Computer as well as for the third-party Macintosh clone makers.
