Price Waterhouse is opening up SAP's R/3 to the world with a new Internet application. The global consultancy is demonstrating the new service this week at the SAP European User Group conference in Madrid, Spain. An extranet service, PriceWaterhouse is developing Internet-based front ends for the order processing and purchasing functionality in SAP's R/3 Version 4.0 software application. It is meant to allow users of R/3 to open up to their customers online catalogues, details about products, and even order products directly from the company. No pricing or release date has been set.
