Short Take: 1stUp.com hits 1 million subscribers

CMGI-owned free Internet service provider 1stUp.com said it has registered more than 1 million subscribers to its service. The milestone comes five months after 1stUp inked a deal to offer free Internet access on CMGI-owned AltaVista. 1stUp also said that Gay.com will feature its service on its site.
