Short Take: 1-800-Flowers.com to bloom on AOL

Online flower retailer 1-800-Flowers.com announced today a 4-year, $37 million marketing agreement with America Online. As part of the pact, which is a continuation of earlier agreements, for the next four years, 1-800-Flowers.com will be the exclusive retailer of fresh-cut flowers on the AOL proprietary service, AOL.com, Netscape, Netcenter, ICQ, and other AOL properties. 1-800-Flowers.com will also be the exclusive seller in the gardening area of the AOL sites for one year.
