Short: Solaris upgrade due

Sun Microsystems said today it will ship a Web-enhanced version of its Solaris operating system next month. Solaris 2.5.1, an update to the company?s Unix operating system for SPARC and Intel processor-based systems, can increase Web server performance by up to 300 percent over previous versions, according to Sun.
