Asymetrix, a supplier of Internet authoring and development tools, announced it will receive an equity investment from Softbank Holdings, a U.S.-based operating company responsible for all of Softbank's interests outside of Japan. Softbank will also take a seat on the board of directors at Asymetrix. Asymetrix's SuperCede is an ActiveX and Java development environment which allows developers to modify running applications.
