SCO and Hewlett-Packard announced that they have completed a second draft of the application programming interface (API) for a standard Unix operating system. The two companies have been working together to merge the base of Unix code in HP-UX, SCO OpenServer, and SCO UnixWare so that developers can finally have one Unix platform to write for. Information about the API is available on HP's or SCO's Web site.
